On December 17, 2024, in Cargo Systems Messaging System (CSMS) # 63430997, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) dates for 2025. Importers who participate in this electronic payment program with CBP can pay duties for shipments entered or released during the previous calendar month. The importer must first be approved for Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) payment with CBP. The benefits of the PMS program include receiving more time to make payments to CBP providing cash flow advantages and streamlining accounting and reporting processes.
CBP lists the specific dates of the preliminary and final statements in their notice. If you are interested in participating in the PMS program with CBP, please contact your C.H. Robinson account manager.
