CBP Announces Forced Labor Prevention Webinars

On January 12, 2023, in the Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #54689022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that they will host two webinars in January addressing Forced Labor prevention requirements. Registration for each webinar is required.

 

The Office of Trade will host a webinar on January 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. ET. This webinar, Forced Labor 101, will focus on forced labor topics including relevant legislation, CBP enforcement, and resources.

The Office of Field Operations (OFO) will host a webinar on January 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., ET. This webinar, CTPAT-Forced Labor, will allow OFO personnel from the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program to address the requirements current and potential CTPAT members must meet related to forced labor prevention.
