  • Affected Regions: North America
  • Advisory Type: Tariff

Dear Valued Customer,

On December 16, 2022, the U.S. Trade Representative has announced the extension of 352 exclusions until September 30, 2023. These exclusions were originally scheduled to expire on December 31, 2022. Effective January 1, 2023, these exclusions will be extended with the article description of heading 9903.88.67 of the HTSUS.

Extending these exclusions allows the USTR to align them with the statutory four-year review. The notice provides for any interested persons wishing to submit comments on whether certain tariff headings with a reinstated product exclusion should remain covered by the actions or removed, may submit comments on docket number USTR-2022-0014. Comments must be submitted through the online portal (https://comments.USTR.gov) by January 17, 2023.

For additional information, review the notice at Extension of Reinstated Exclusions FRN (ustr.gov)
