U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced recently that registration is now open for their Trade Facilitation and Cargo Security Summit for 2024. The event will take place on March 26-28 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown and virtually via webcast. Sessions will include discussions highlighting CTPAT, Broker Continuing Education Requirements, Combatting Illicit Opioids, Artificial Intelligence, International Affairs, Global Business Identifier, Green Trade, Supply Chain Security, E-Commerce, Forced Labor, and more.

CBP announced a reminder that individual licensed customs brokers must submit and pay for their Triennial Status Report for 2024 by February 29, 2024. The filing and payment of $100 must be done by the individual broker prior to the deadline or you risk suspension of your broker license by operation of law.
