RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage the shared mailbox and handle ship orders, ensuring timely review, prioritization, and accurate execution of customer requests
- Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from purchase order issuance through cargo delivery
- Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions to challenges both internally and externally
- Coordinate shipment‑related tasks to meet all customer SOP requirements, including booking approvals, processing pre‑alerts, governmental filings, delivery execution, and proper invoicing
- Collaborate with international team members and third‑party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service, and effective problem resolution
- Build strong customer relationships through timely responses and proactive follow‑up on issue resolution
- Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers
- Participate in customer business reviews
- Contribute to seamless forwarding operations across various regions, gaining exposure to diverse challenges and client needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of international freight forwarding experience
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Preferred:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
- Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Excellent customer service skills and follow-up to be utilized with customers and the network
