Dear Valued Customer,

Hurricane Idalia is currently impacting the eastern Gulf of Mexico and is forecast to make landfall on the West Coast of Florida Wednesday as a category 3 hurricane. The state of Florida has declared an emergency in hurricane-warned counties, and residents in the area have begun preparing for impacts. We anticipate possible capacity supply constraints in and around the impacted areas as the storm moves across Florida and are keeping an eye on emergency response needs as power outages and flooding are possible.

TRUCKLOAD
Road closures and power outages are expected to have some impact on available capacity during the storm and in the immediate aftermath. Your C.H. Robinson team is here to support you with planning, alternative solutions, and tracking your freight.

LESS THAN TRUCKLOAD (LTL)
Some LTL terminals are working under limited operations with closures possible. Shipment delays can be expected for any shipment into or out of Northwest Florida today through Thursday.

INTERMODAL
Rail terminals in the impacted area are set to suspend operations as the storm moves through. As a result, intermodal shipments into and out of Northwest Florida will likely experience some transit delays.

OCEAN
The Port of Tampa Bay has suspended oceanside operations ahead of the storm, landside operations remain active at this time.
