General Rate Increase (GRI), United States to Central America and the Caribbean

Dear Valued Customer,

The ocean carriers that provide service from the United States to Central America and the Caribbean have announced and filed a General Rate Increase (GRI) to the mentioned trade lanes and levels noted below. The effective GRI will be applied to all containers in-gated at the origin receiving terminal on or after October 17, 2024.

United States to Central America and the Caribbean (all ports and IPI points)

C.H. Robinson will continue to evaluate the market to ensure each customer receives the most competitive offering in the marketplace. These levels are pre-filed rates consistent with the ocean carriers to ensure FMC (U.S. Federal Maritime Commission) compliance. We will continue to monitor the market and levels to ensure our rates remain competitive.
