Logistics Representative (After hours shift)

Primary Location: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico

Robinson is looking for a Logistics Representative to join our Monterrey team, where you will directly influence the success of our customers’ supply chains and strengthen our operational excellence from day one. In this role, your work drives reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across a fast‑moving global logistics network.

As a Logistics Representative, you’ll oversee daily shipment execution, resolve exceptions, and collaborate with carriers and customers to ensure seamless operations. You’ll use your expertise to anticipate issues, improve processes, and support continuous service improvement. Your contributions will help elevate our service performance and reinforce C.H. Robinson’s position as a leader in the logistics industry.

This position requires availability to work night shifts and weekend hours, as the role supports time‑sensitive, high‑volume logistics operations across multiple markets. Flexibility to work non‑standard schedules is essential for success in this role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Ensure Transportation arrangements are made for shipments by the following: 

  • Monitoring customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System 

  • Maintaining any team mailboxes 

  • Performing relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes 

  • Document and organize existing standard operating processes 

  • Learn multiple job functions within assigned team 

  • Facilitate customer calls and updates, identify when an outgoing call is needed to offer proactive answers 

  • Meet operational metrics 

  • Conduct CHR systems trainings to external CHR customer representatives 

  • Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports 

  • Make fact-based suggestions on how customers can achieve their goals in utilizing CHR by understanding CHR’s value proposition 

  • Act as a resource and support for peers when needed 

  • Understand and utilize CHR’s project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team 

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

  • High School Diploma and/or GED 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics 

  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems 

  • Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested 

  • Fluent in English and Spanish 

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university 

  • Excellent customer service skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs 

  • Ability to present to a variety of audiences 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to think critically, analyze data and solve problems quickly and accurately 

  • Ability to work in a team oriented and fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks 

  • Continuous improvement mindset
