On May 31, 2025, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced a 3-month extension of 164 exclusions from May 30, 2024, and 14 exclusions covering certain solar manufacturing equipment announced September 8, 2024. The exclusion extension is available for articles that meet the specific product exclusion description.
The exclusions were previously scheduled to expire on May 31, 2025. The exclusions have been extended through August 31, 2025.
Effective June 1, 2025, the headings of 9903.88.69 and 9903.88.70 may be applicable. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirmed in CSMS # 65223125 the harmonized tariff system to include this extension has been updated.
