Dear Valued Customer,

Hurricane Milton impacts remain across much of central Florida as of Friday morning. Widespread power outages and flooding due to rain and storm surge continue to impact supply chains in the storm’s path. Our top priority remains the safety of our employees, their families, and all others in the impacted region. C.H. Robinson’s disaster response team is monitoring and assist emergency response needs.

TRUCKLOAD
Road closures and flooding are still impacting capacity availability throughout central Florida, but most major highways and Interstates are open as of Friday morning. Widespread power outages in the path of the storm continue to limit shipper operations and could continue through the weekend in some areas. Your C.H. Robinson team is here to support you with alternative solutions and tracking your freight.

LESS THAN TRUCKLOAD (LTL)
Many LTL terminals remain closed or with limited operations as of Friday morning due to power outages and flooding. Expect delays for shipments into or out of much of Florida through the weekend as terminals can reopen and begin working through their backlog.

INTERMODAL
Tampa and Jacksonville rail terminals are open and fully operational as of Friday morning. The Central Florida hub remains closed, with a planned reopening at 2pm EST Friday, October 11. Intermodal shipments into and out of Florida will likely experience some transit delays through the rest of the week as damage assessments are completed at hubs and along rail lines throughout the impacted area.

OCEAN
The Port of Tampa Bay is accessible through the main gate as of Friday morning but damage assessments continue for both land and seaside operations. The port of Jacksonville landside operations have resumed, and main gates are open under normal hours. Seaside operations at both Tampa and Jacksonville will resume upon changes to port status from the U.S. Coast Guard.

AIR
All major cargo airports in the impacted region are open and fully operational as of Friday morning. Any cargo moving in the area may experience minor delays due to standard flight schedule changes.
