“During the quarter, we delivered year-over-year volume growth in each of these verticals,” said Michael Castagnetto, NAST President. He added that the introduction of value-added solutions, including the company’s drop trailer asset management system, are “designed to simplify complexity, reduce costs and deliver consistent, high-quality service across the supply chain.”
At a time when many of C.H. Robinson’s customers face supply-chain challenges and tariff uncertainty, Dave Bozeman is applying lessons he’s learned firsthand from timeless brands and putting them to work in new ways. The result: C.H. Robinson’s company’s ability to innovate may prove to be a competitive edge during a challenging time for freight.
“Truckload and expedited ground networks can absorb some displaced volume, but not without challenges given that short-term surges drive spot rate volatility and equipment repositioning,” said Mike Short, president of Global Forwarding at C.H. Robinson, noting that C.H. Robinson is also analyzing customers’ inventory to determine how existing stock can be used to plug potential gaps.
