For Manifest, the industry's premier supply chain event, we created a brand video that introduced the Agentic Supply Chain™—a new category designed to position C.H. Robinson at the forefront of AI-powered logistics and spark deeper customer engagement. And we didn't just tell an AI story … we used AI to help create it.

Long before AI became a marketing trend, the Brand, Content & Creative team was actively experimenting with its potential in content development. The team leveraged AI throughout concept development and storytelling, proving that the same curiosity and innovation driving the business could also fuel the creative process itself.

Creative Strategy

"What If...?" reframed AI from a technology story into a possibility story. Instead of focusing on features and functionality, the hype video invited audiences to imagine a future where supply chains can anticipate, adapt, and act intelligently. The result was a bold, cinematic narrative that transformed a complex B2B topic into an accessible and intriguing brand experience.

AI's Creative Role

AI served as a creative collaborator during concepting and script development. It helped the team explore alternate narratives, test new framing approaches, and simplify technical concepts. Human creatives guided every decision—curating ideas, shaping the story, and ensuring strategic and creative rigor throughout. AI expanded the possibilities; creative judgment made them meaningful.

Impact

  • The video became the centerpiece of the Manifest experience, helping establish the Agentic Supply Chain™ as a new category conversation within logistics, with strong results:
    • The activation drove the event's highest-attended presentation with over 700 registered for our session
    • There were over 500 in-person attendees to the C.H. Robinson session with event staff needing to turn people away at the door due to capacity
    • It also generated 100s of customer meetings, including 215 unique connections at the show with investor prospects, media, industry partners, and key customers such as Best Buy, Caterpillar, Costco, Dollar General, and Ford, among many others
    • It also fueled significant industry and media coverage before and after Manifest
    • Most importantly, it transformed years of AI innovation into a market-defining story that customers wanted to explore further. At a time when many companies were talking about AI, C.H. Robinson demonstrated what real-world execution looks like—and we appropriately used AI for our storytelling.
