The Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) is a government/private sector partnership focused on protecting supply chains from concealment of terrorist weapons, contraband, and other items that threaten U.S. security.
However, knowing how to become or remain compliant with the program’s minimum security criteria (MSC) may be overwhelming. We can help. Trust our supply chain security experts to enhance your operations' resilience and compliance through CTPAT.
By joining this voluntary program, not only do you experience a more secure supply chain, CTPAT members can realize additional benefits.
There are several requirements to become CTPAT certified. C.H. Robinson offers the following services to help your company navigate the process to achieve and maintain certification. Don’t see a service listed here? Our trade policy team may be able to customize our CTPAT consulting services to fit your needs.
C.H. Robinson will evaluate your company’s nominated business partners. Any companies that have not provided proof of participation in CTPAT or a mutually recognized foreign security initiative will complete a tailored C.H. Robinson CTPAT Evaluation Questionnaire and, where necessary, a corrective action request.
C.H. Robinson consultants will review copies of your policies, procedures, and other documentation from your security program to confirm they are current and adhere to CTPAT standards. If your procedures do not meet CTPAT requirements, C.H. Robinson will help develop or update them, as necessary.
Detailed assessments evaluate risks that addresses external threats against your company’s supply chain security procedures—terrorism, smuggling, organized crime, and other factors—and how your company and/or foreign suppliers will respond to these types of challenges.
If your company is new to the CTPAT program, we can help develop your Security Profile to CBP’s requirements. If you already participate in the program, trust our experts to review your Security Profile for continuous improvement updates.
Validation meetings with CBP require ample preparation, both by company personnel and through evidence of implementation of your program. C.H. Robinson can help your U.S. and/or foreign locations feel confident about upcoming validation meeting(s).
Ensure your company personnel are fully aware of their responsibilities for compliance with CTPAT procedures. C.H. Robinson can develop customized training materials and conduct educational sessions for relevant departments.
