MELBOURNE (March 13, 2018)C.H. Robinson, a leading global third-party logistics provider, has entered into a five-year contract with Austal, the Australian shipbuilder, to provide expert freight forwarding and customs clearance services. C.H. Robinson was selected due to its leading expertise in global air and ocean logistics, as well as its unmatched industry knowledge and worldwide network of local offices.

Robinson’s extensive network and industry-leading technology solutions to enhance global visibility, deliver expedited services and realise cost savings in its supply chain.

The Austal win marks C.H. Robinson’s first defence industry contract announcement since the company’s entry into the Australian market, following the acquisition of APC Logistics in 2016.
