C.H. Robinson is looking for a Senior Air Import Agent to join our team in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full shipment lifecycle for assigned customer accounts, ensuring that all customer requirements are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will take ownership of your accounts, overseeing each shipment from start to finish while maintaining clear and proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders. In addition to operational execution, you will be accountable for daily coordination, reporting, and email management, ensuring visibility, compliance, and high service quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
- Understand and input applicable financial components of shipments to generate correct billing for customers
- Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service and creative problem resolution.
- Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution
- Provides track and trace service to customers and generates shipment documents
- Ensure a high-level of data integrity within the shipments: acknowledgement of shipment details, routing, dates, documents, etc.
- Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
- Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of Air Import experience with a freight forwarder
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
