Chicago, IL, Nov. 15, 2010 — Transportation Management Center (TMC), a division of C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., has continued the rollout of its worldwide Managed TMS^® services by adding a control tower operations center in Mumbai, India.  C.H. The new facility provides TMC customers with Managed TMS^® and control tower services in one of the world's emerging trade superpowers.  This addition extends the coverage of TMC's global Managed TMS^® services which already encompasses North America, South America, Europe, Africa and portions of the Middle East.

Headed by General Manager Adam Davis, the new center in Mumbai will serve international customers as well domestic shippers in India and South and Southeast Asia.  It will also facilitate transportation management in Pakistan and the Middle East.

At the core of the control tower concept is a blend of TMS software and managed services that TMC and Managed TMS^® has taken to a global level.
