Senior L&D Facilitator

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Learning & Development Facilitator to deliver high-impact learning experiences that strengthen performance and build capability across our global organization. In this role, you will lead engaging classroom and virtual sessions while flexing into instructional design and change support. We’re looking for a facilitator who views this as an enterprise enablement role, not a single-function job. You’ll be most successful if you’re energized by variety and ambiguity, proactively seek ways to help the team between delivery blocks, and are comfortable shifting between facilitation, content updates, and change support based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Facilitate complex learning solutions in virtual and in-person settings, connecting content to business terminology and concepts
  • Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that supports participation and learning transfer
  • Coach participants during sessions and provide follow-up support as appropriate to reinforce key learnings
  • Partner cross-functionally with curriculum designers, stakeholders, and business leaders to share feedback on materials, learner outcomes, and opportunities to improve programs
  • Support change initiatives by communicating clearly, influencing adoption, and reinforcing new processes and behaviors
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business strategies, technology, and processes to keep facilitation relevant and impactful
  • Build trusted relationships with subject matter experts, leaders, and project teams to identify needs, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Use participant feedback, satisfaction measures, and evaluation data to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Stay current on adult learning trends and recommend enhancements to delivery approaches and learning experiences
  • Take proactive ownership by raising your hand for work between facilitation blocks and helping the team deliver outcomes through co-facilitation, content support, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience and high school diploma/GED
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilitation of meetings (virtual or in-person), seminars, or other classroom-like setting
  • Experience in providing 1:1 feedback to participants
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestically and internationally)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory and principles, including leadership and team development models, as well as current research and trends
  • Knowledgeable in self- and multi-rater assessments to provide 1:1 feedback to participants; able to interpret results and share insights; experienced finding themes and trends in group reports
  • Ability to develop strong, sustainable, and productive relationships with relevant business partners
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills which enable a training facilitator to effectively educate employees and communicate with the upper management
  • Strong listening ability to comprehend and draw connections for learning
  • Experience consulting, influencing without authority, effectively resolving conflict, and thriving in a fast-paced, decentralized, matrixed, global environment
  • Strong planning, problem solving/critical thinking skills, and ability to execute plan
  • The ability to think strategically and deliver in a pragmatic and efficient way
  • Continuous improvement mindset that will help improve the employee experience and organizational effectiveness

Compensation Range

$63,800.00 - $100,900.00

The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.  Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
