C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a key strategic partner, driving data analysis that supports informed business decisions. In this role, you will lead the preparation of monthly financial statements, comparative reports, and annual budgets, while offering strategic insights to leaders. Your focus will be on collaborating with internal stakeholders and business leaders to generate value and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Own monthly forecasting processes for assigned business areas; ensure timelines, inputs, and approvals are met, proactively surfacing trends and performance risks/opportunities
Partner with business leaders to develop monthly forecast; challenge inputs and ensure consistency with enterprise guidance
Perform month-end close analysis, including variance to annual plan, rolling forecast, and prior year; identify key drivers and root causes in monthly reporting
Monitor KPIs; identify actionable improvement opportunities and quantify the expected financial impact
Drive continuous improvement of planning/reporting processes (standardization, documentation, automation) to improve accuracy, speed, and controls
Partner on the implementation and enhancement of reporting and analytical tools (requirements, validation/testing, user enablement) so stakeholders have reliable, timely insights
Coordinate with Corporate Finance on standard reporting, planning assumptions, and analytics best practices; contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives
Perform other related duties as assigned, consistent with team and/or country-specific requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or related analytical roles
Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and international), as needed
Strongly Preferred:
Proficiency in Excel (or equivalent), with ability to build and audit complex models; strong PowerPoint/financial storytelling skills
Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations
Financial modeling and analysis skills, including scenario/sensitivity analysis and variance/root-cause analysis
Preferred:
Strong skills in data analytics, financial analysis, and accounting
Experience with finance technology such as Oracle, Essbase, or TM1
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to influence and consult effectively with multiple stakeholders at various levels
Experience navigating a matrixed organization with competing priorities
Team-oriented, thrives in collaborative environments
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented environment

Compensation Range
$77,200.00 - $122,300.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
