Global Forwarding Coordinator

Primary Location: Bogota Colombia

Robinson is looking for a Global Forwarding Coordinator in Bogotá to support the seamless execution of international shipments and directly impact service reliability across our global forwarding network. In this role, you help strengthen customer trust and operational excellence by ensuring freight moves efficiently, compliantly, and on time.

You will coordinate day-to-day air and ocean forwarding activities, manage documentation and milestones, and partner closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues proactively. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Understand the processes involved in international shipping from purchase order to delivery of cargo at ultimate destination 

  • Assist GF personnel and other third parties with inquiries and problem resolution  

  • Generate, file, and maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, reports, shipment documentation, etc. 

  • Provide tracking and tracing services for customer shipments 

  • Provide support and backup for the delivery and turnovers 

  • Perform load-audits  

  • Provide reporting and documentation collection support to global forwarding personnel and ensure customer data integrity 

  • Ensure adherence to customer SOPs, government agency regulations, and C.H. Robinson company standards 

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

  • High school diploma or GED 

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) 

 

Preferred: 

  • Minimum 2 years of previous working experience 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment 

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette 

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively  

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
