C.H. Robinson is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Payroll and HR Specialist to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In this role, you will support key payroll and HR administration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, payroll providers, and benefits vendors. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, leave of absences, and terminations
Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and employment verifications
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
Support HR Business Partners with general HR administration and ad hoc requests
Prepare and file HR-related documents, including new hire contracts, and termination papers
Draft basic HR letters and documents upon employee request
Payroll:
Collect and organize necessary inputs for the payroll process
Assist in validating payroll reports prepared by external payroll providers for accuracy
Prepare and distribute basic payroll-related reports to the Finance team and ensure smooth payroll funding and processes
Address simple payroll-related queries from employees, escalating more complex issues as needed
Support:
Assist with various HR projects, initiatives, and administrative tasks as assigned
Work closely with internal and external parties, including payroll providers, benefits providers, and relevant authorities
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High School Diploma and/or GED
Experience in an HR environment (payroll, leave of absence, and/or administration)
Fluent in English
Preferred:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
Experience in processing payroll
Experience working with an external payroll provider
Ability to work in a shared service environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid attention to detail
Collaborative attitude and ability to work within a team
Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
