C.H. Robinson is looking for a Supervisor Project Implementation for our team in Amsterdam.
As Supervisor Project Implementation you will lead a team of 5–10 Implementation professionals (Project Managers and Project Consultants). This dynamic leadership role blends team management, client engagement, and operational & implementation execution, requiring a strategic mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. As a key member of the Global Implementation team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of customer implementation projects while supporting team development, process excellence, and global initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead and support a team executing new and existing customer implementations, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with our RMS 5i Methodology
Collaborate to design, develop and implement advanced logistics solutions using our TMS software with customer ERP or WMS systems. Performing duties as a Project Consultant or Project Manager on key projects when required
Act as a point of escalation for project-related issues, providing hands-on support and exceptional customer service as needed
Provide day-to-day support to customers, internal stakeholders, and operational teams during go-lives
Collaborate with the [Senior] Manager, Implementation on team planning, resource allocation, and financial performance.
Monitor and coach team performance; provide regular training, feedback, and career development support.
Participate in and lead customer-facing meetings and presentations.
Create, review, and maintain project documentation and process materials.
Measure and communicate progress against team and global KPIs, including scorecard metrics, resource forecasting, and performance tracking.
Support the development of tools, templates, and methodologies that enhance Implementation team effectiveness.
Contribute to global strategic initiatives and share best practices across regions.
Build and maintain strong internal and external networks to drive collaboration and successful project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of supply chain industry experience, with hands-on involvement in customer implementations or TMS-related projects
Proven ability to lead meetings, drive follow up on actions, and manage stakeholder communications across all levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for executive-level updates
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Visio or Lucidchart, and project planning tool (such as Monday.com or similar)
Comfortable collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% during peak periods (potentially 2–3 short trips per quarter)
Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend work based on project needs
Proficiency in English
Preferred:
Prior experience in a people leadership role, preferably within an Implementation or Project team
3+ years working directly in an implementation capacity, ideally involving TMS or ERP integration
Experience managing cross-functional projects and communicating with senior-level stakeholders (Director, VP, C-suite)
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to create polished, customer-facing deliverables such as presentations and tollgate documentation
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
