C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior BPO Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing shipment operations and supporting invoicing activities for assigned shipments while ensuring compliance with customer SOPs and operational requirements.
You will coordinate shipment activities, resolve issues proactively, and ensure operational and billing requirements are completed accurately and on time. Additionally, you will support the timely and accurate creation of customer invoices while meeting service and operational KPIs.
Strong global forwarding knowledge, operational focus, and ownership of assigned shipments are critical to success in this role. Knowledge of invoicing processes and INCOTERMS is an added advantage.
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain Operational Excellence:
Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo
Understand and input applicable financial components of shipments to generate correct billing for customers
Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally
Create, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring accurate data
Provides track and trace service to customers and generates shipment documents
Ensure a high-level of data integrity within the shipments: acknowledgement of shipment details, INCOterms, routing, dates, documents, etc.
Facilitate Relationships:
Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution
Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with Customers/Agents, CHR offices, and Outside Vendors
Act as a key customer contact and subject matter expert
Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally, building relationships with account management identifying client by identifying and proposing process improvement and/or consultative leads
Monitor shipments trends and its impact to our processes and operations
Invoicing:
Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing by validating shipment financials, customer-specific billing requirements, and applicable charges, while resolving billing discrepancies and supporting revenue realization in accordance with SOPs and service standards.
Other Activities:
Ensure customer SOPs are maintained and adhered to
Make recommendations to improve or implement technology solutions to recognize efficiencies and improve net revenue
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 3 years of Global Forwarding Operations experience
Experience in invoicing, billing, or revenue management
Knowledge of international trade and Incoterms.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Experience working in a shared services or BPO environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
