Digital Communications Manager

Primary Location: Eden Prairie, MN United States of America

C.H. Robinson is hiring a Digital Communications Manager. This role will be located in Eden Prairie, MN with three days in the office and two days working from home.

In this role you are responsible for creating, curating, and sharing content on C.H. Robinson’s digital channels, inclusive of social, website, and internal. You will partner with our marketing and communications leaders and connect internal and external audiences to our strategy and vision. You will help create messaging strategies and content that educates, empowers and drives growth with our internal and external audiences. You will leverage marketing, communications, and content creation background along an ability to develop effective storytelling and communications plans, create engaging content, build audiences, and manage social media.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills in a variety of channels, have experience partnering with leaders, collaborating across teams (e.g. Marketing, HR, Business, etc.) and have the ability to lead initiatives with a consultative and positive approach.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with stakeholders on marketing and communications initiatives aligned with business objectives to increase key audience engagement, tell customer success stories, and drive business growth.

  • Manage digital channel communication strategy, including content calendar, content development, and stakeholder management.

  • Create, draft and distribute content across prioritized internal and external digital channels, including organic and paid social media, to targeted audiences.

  • Leverage analytics and metrics to better understand audiences, inform future storytelling initiatives, and develop more effective content.

  • Effectively communicate across varied stakeholders, including senior organizational leaders.

  • Manage several projects in various stages of development.

  • Leverage existing brand and reputation assets to maintain a consistent voice and look, tone and feel.

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High school diploma, GED equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in communications, media, marketing, or writing

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Graphic design and/or video production experience.

  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet expected deadlines.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with storytelling experience and an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

  • Fosters teamwork and collaboration, contributes to a positive work environment for team members.

  • Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization.

Compensation Range

$57,100.00 - $89,100.00
