Carrier Account Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Secures capacity by negotiating with carriers for volume, lanes, and rates aligned with strategic opportunities
- Develops alternative capacity options, including drop trailer and dedicated capacity
- Builds deep relationships with carriers to maximize capacity utilization and satisfaction
- Matches capacity to shipments, ensuring timely execution in line with customer expectations
- Resolves day-to-day issues, collaborating with internal teams for operational success
- Uses analytics and pricing tools to make informed buying and negotiating decisions
- Grows a diversified carrier portfolio, maintaining strong relationships through regular communication
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of carrier sales experience
- Fluency in Turkish and English
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Service-oriented, prioritizing the best interests of customers and carriers
- Demonstrates quality in work and meets expectations
- Takes accountability and follows through on role expectations
- Skilled in negotiation, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing time efficiently
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
