(June 28, 2016) — Freightview, a cloud-based freight management tool for small to mid-sized businesses, was selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a recipient of an SDCE 100 Award for 2016. The SDCE 100 is an annual list of great supply chain projects that serve as a guide for executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations.

Freightview was recognized for radically simplifying freight management operations for its customer, BioZyme, Inc. As BioZyme grew, it needed a solution to more efficiently handle its 250-300 less-than-truckload (LTL) orders per month. Freightview enabled BioZyme to overhaul its shipping process, slashing the time it takes to quote, book, and track shipments and creating substantial cost savings. By using Freightview, the company saved an estimated total of 50 hours of shipment processing time per month, improved carrier discount rates by an average of 2-3 percent, and improved on-time delivery rates.
