In early April, Brose presented C.H. Robinson with the award at its headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. This recognition highlights the fluid relationship between Brose and C.H. Robinson.

“We established a regular cadence of face-to-face meetings and conference calls with both corporate contacts and plant representatives to discuss initiatives, progress on goals, and challenges,” said Patrick Klein, manager, account management at C.H. Robinson. “Adoption of these processes have allowed both companies to share ideas, resolve issues, and continuously improve the program.”

The collaboration between the two companies started in 2015. From the beginning, C.H. Robinson and Brose worked together to improve productivity including the use of specialized trailers and rebalancing of dock schedules to reduce congestion at the plants.

“Using a consolidation final mile program to execute less-than-truckload (LTL) shipment deliveries helped reduce the number of trailers arriving for delivery and allowed for the implementation of a firmly scheduled window system,” said Klein. “We’re proud to have this relationship.”
