Beginning in 1905, Charles Henry Robinson founded C.H. Robinson as a wholesale fruit and vegetable trading house. Today, the company is one of the most respected logistics companies in the world. To meet the needs of growing, global companies, the company expanded services and its powerful logistics network.

2003
Expands the international freight forwarding network by opening an office in Hong Kong and acquiring Frank M. Viet GmbH Internationale Spedition, an international freight forwarding and third party logistics company based in Hamburg, Germany.

2004
C.H. Robinson acquires China-based Dalian Decheng Shipping Agency Co., establishing seven new offices in mainland China.

2006
C.H. Robinson acquires Triune Freight Private Ltd. and Triune Logistics Private Ltd., a third party logistics provider based in India.

2007
Singapore office opens.

2008
C.H. Robinson acquires Transera International, a project forwarding company based in Calgary, Canada.

2012
C.H. Robinson acquires Apreo Logistics S.A. ("Apreo"), a leading freight forwarder based in Warsaw, Poland and Phoenix International, Inc. ("Phoenix"), an international freight forwarder headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

Introduction of Navisphere®, the company’s proprietary single global technology platform.
