KANSAS CITY, MO (September 14, 2016) —
Freightquote, a C.H. Robinson company, is hosting Robinson Cares events at its Kansas City office the third week of September. The goal of the community giving campaign is for employees to raise funds for local and national charities.

Employees, will be participating in a variety of activities to raise funds. These range from a silent auction and raffle to a chili cook off and pie baking contest. The money raised from the week’s activities will benefit charities selected by Freightquote employees:

Employees nominated these charities because they have a personal connection, volunteer with them inside and outside of work, and are passionate about their missions. Volunteering and giving back to the local community is at the heart of Freightquote employees. Freightquote has employees who have been volunteering for years, get their families involved in volunteering, raise funds and awareness, and serve nonprofits on their board of directors.

Over the last 17 years, C.H. Robinson’s corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minn. has hosted Robinson Cares Week the third week of September, raising over $2.6 million for local and national charities. To make a bigger impact, offices throughout North America are participating in this initiative.
