EDEN PRAIRIE, MN (June 16, 2016) – Robinson Fresh®, a division of C.H. Robinson, announced a recent change in its leadership team. This change further strengthens the commitment Robinson Fresh has for its long-term goals: product leadership, sales excellence, global products and services, and temperature controlled expertise.
“The new leadership structure at Robinson Fresh is focused on providing increased support for our customers, growers, contract carriers, and employees’ overall business needs,” said Jim Lemke, president of Robinson Fresh. “It’s an exciting time for our business as we focus on excellent customer service and continued business growth.”
Joining the leadership team in new roles are:
• Michael Castagnetto who leads the division’s global sourcing and supply networks and aligns the performance, planning, and further development of strategic categories.
• Mark Petersen who leads Robinson Fresh’s transportation services, managing the strategy, structure, and performance of transportation centers to ensure a consistent approach.
• Todd Bernitt who leads managed supply chain services, which include order management, forecasting, replenishment, and other emerging supply chain areas that help buyers manage their orders more effectively. He also leads the division’s focus on serving foodservice customers.
Additionally, global leaders include Gary York, global sales and international fresh logistics; Robert Walsleben, Europe region; and Ray Griffin, Asia Pacific regions. Jim Dorcy will oversee global account management and Jose Rossignoli is responsible for Latin American supply.
The leadership team will be present throughout the United Fresh Convention in Chicago, IL, June 20-22, at the Robinson Fresh booth, #2038, and will showcase how the division offers fresh solutions—from supplying quality produce and providing customer insights and marketing support, to category and inventory management.
