PORTLAND, OR (October 27, 2017) — C.H. Robinson, a global third party logistics (3PL) company, and its Portland office contributed to a month-long, company-wide, employee-led giving campaign. The campaign raised a total of $791,000 for local, national and global charities. In addition to the Robinson Cares campaign fundraising, employees accumulated more than 1,450 volunteer hours, helping their neighbors in need.
The Portland office hosted internal events, including a silent auction, and participated in the ALS Walk. The employees raised nearly $4,200 for the following charities: Northwest Children’s Outreach, Humane Society for Southwest Washington and ALS Association Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter.
“This was our second year participating in Robinson Cares Week. The events brought us all together to give back to the local area charities that matter most to us,” said Danielle Broderick, manager at C.H. Robinson.
Since 2005, C.H. Robinson, along with its Foundation, has given over $23 million back to our communities.
