As general manager of the C.H. Robinson Global Forwarding office in Cleveland, OH, I’m used to all kinds of emails landing in my inbox, and responding to them quickly. I must admit, though, that I was thrown off for just a moment when I received a message from our corporate office with an invitation to be included in the efforts to win the top spot in Inbound Logistics’ Top 3PL Annual Survey.
As you may know, Inbound Logistics asks its readers to vote for their top third party logistics provider (3PL) each year. As a C.H. Robinson employee, I take great pride that we’ve won this award for four years in a row, and I’m excited to be included in our quest to win the number one spot this year as part of the Real People, Real Impact campaign.
As one of the four C.H. Robinson employees selected to be part of a photo and video shoot, I was humbled to be recognized for my work. I try to go above and beyond for my customers so they can get the results they want, so it was an honor to hear that one of my customers submitted feedback about my work and the positive impact I make in their supply chain. It was a thrill to learn that the comment also resulted in me being part of this campaign!
In my nearly 15 years with C.H. Robinson, I’ve been building and strengthening relationships with customers and working to provide solutions for their evolving challenges. I know that C.H. Robinson employees around the world—all 11,500 of them—do the same. We genuinely care about our work and our customers, and we are committed to doing what we can to be an advantage to our customers.
