About the Author: Mac Pinkerton and Mike Neill
Mac Pinkerton is the president of North American Surface Transportation at C.H. Robinson. In this role, Mac drives the division’s long-term strategy and transformation. Since joining C.H. Robinson in 1997, Mac’s many accomplishments include leading the development of C.H. Robinson’s virtual capacity centers and establishing the company’s first LTL operations and consolidation centers. He also played an active role in the company’s evolution to a single workflow across the network, and in driving digital enhancements throughout the business. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University.
Mike Neill, named chief technology officer in 2018, leads the C.H. Robinson’s Information Technology team which enables the company to execute efficiently and deliver value to customers and service providers. Since joining C.H. Robinson in 2002, Mike has played an integral role in technology developments such as the company’s exclusive Navisphere platform – a powerful ecosystem that brings together all aspects of a customer’s supply chain through visibility to operations which allows optimization of processes, access to strategic data and reports, and better technical connectivity to customers and service providers. Mike is responsible for accelerating the pace of innovation at C.H. Robinson to help employees, customers and service providers work better, smarter and faster in this digital era. Mike, his wife, three children and dog live in Plymouth, Minn. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially watching his kids play sports, and boating, fishing and golfing.
