networks, then linking those operations to offer
intercontinental logistics.
Today, CHRW has over 210 offices and an additional
100 distribution agents worldwide. CHRW expects
continued growth as more companies ship into
new markets.
CHRW provides pan-European distribution and global forwarding (international) services through
its offices in France, Germany, the U.K., Ireland, Spain,
Italy,
Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, with European headquarters
established in Antwerp, Belgium.
CHRW has been serving customers in South America
since 1991.
CHRW added new operations in Argentina, Brazil,
Venezuela,
and Chile with the acquisition of Comexter
Group, a
transportation,
freight forwarding, and customs brokerage
firm.
That acquisition
offers shippers new options for
distribution throughout
the
Mercosur.
In North America, we have 14 global forwarding offices
with ocean, air, and customs clearance capabilities, as
well as logistics services, to offer customers. We are a
non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) and a
licensed custom broker. With our
leading-edge systems
and strong carrier relationships,
we provide exceptional
service to our Canadian,
Mexican, U.S., and
multinational clients.
CHRW has 8 offices in China and one in Hong Kong to
provide ocean and air freight forwarding services.
Robinson expanded its presence
in the international
forwarding marketplace in December
2006 with the
acquisition of 19 offices on the Indian
subcontinent.
