FLATBED EQUIPMENT

Not sure whether you can fit your freight on a double drop or whether you need an RGN? Check our Flatbed Equipment Guide to see dimensions at a glance for all kinds of flatbed equipment. Or call us at 1-877-4CH-FLAT.

Versatility & Scalability

No wonder it's difficult to manage flatbed loads. Most flatbed providers have 25 trucks or fewer and only provide regional service. When you call C.H. Robinson, you'll have a completely different experience. Here's why:

  • Build-your-own Capacity

Need specialty equipment? Call us for instant access to 120,000 pieces of contract flatbed equipment across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Our relationships with reliable contract carriers build safety nets that help you meet deadlines. As with all C.H. Robinson services, you can request delays between pickup and delivery or alter schedules before pickup.

  • One Size Doesn't Fit All

Got over dimensional or overweight loads? Our employees must pass a test and be certified before they can work on your over dimensional or overweight loads. The flatbed expert who gives you a rate also helps see your load through to final delivery. They'll tender your load to a qualified contract carrier that meets state hauling requirements and will arrange permits and recommended escorts, as needed.

  • Consolidated Flatbed Is Not A Myth

It sounds simple: consolidate partial loads from multiple shippers onto one truck to save time and money. But flatbed freight comes in all shapes and sizes, and consolidated loads move on unique timetables, so flatbed LTL consolidations are difficult to do for most flatbed providers. We can aggregate your partial flatbed loads with loads from other shippers to reduce transit time, improve cost savings, and boost overall efficiency.
