CHRW acquires Preferred Translocation Systems,
a non-asset-based third party LTL company;
and Comexter Group, a South American transportation,
freight forwarding, trading, and customs brokerage
firm.

C. H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. becomes a public
company (CHRW).
1993
CHR establishes an initial presence in Europe through partial ownership of Transeco,
a motor carrier in France.
1992
C. S. Greene International is acquired, expanding CHR's international capabilities.
CHR's entire sales force (nearly 1,200 employees and spouses) shows up in
Minneapolis to celebrate hitting $1 billion in annual sales.
1990
CHR begins to provide air cargo service.
1989
CHR launches The Fresh 1® quality brand program, allowing full control of
the product sold from packaging to distribution. C. H. Robinson International,
Inc. is formed, expanding CHR's services as a freight forwarder, NVOCC and customs
broker.
1988
CHR enters the intermodal business. 1986
Robco Transportation, Inc. is sold so that CHR can become a non-asset-based third
