C.H. Robinson is full of go-getters with warm hearts.
We have fun together on a regular and frequent basis, especially to support a great cause. Here are some of our recent community events:
-
60 people on Team Robinson, including our CEO, John Wiehoff, raised $30,000 in the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 150 Bike Tour.
- On an 11°F day in the middle of February in Akron, Ohio, two brave employees took the Polar Bear Plunge to benefit the Akron-Canton Food Bank. The whole branch showed up to offer their support and the use of their car heaters once the plunge was over.
- At our second annual Robinson Dodgeball Tournament, we raised over $40,000 for the Cancer Kids Fund (CKF). CKF provides support, care, and comfort to kids and their families who are coping with cancer and blood disorders through the hematology/oncology program at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
-
Employees in our Detroit office volunteered a week of their time to help build 30 new houses in the Detroit area through Habitat For Humanity.
- Our 320 walkers made Team Robinson the largest team supporting the Minnesota 2006 Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) Walk To Cure Diabetes at the Mall of America, and we raised over $40,000. Our walkers have donated more than $120,000 to JDRF in the last six years.
All of us at C.H. Robinson take our corporate citizenship seriously and support the communities in which we live. If you’re ready and willing to support causes that will improve the quality of life in your local community, you’ll fit right in. We take pride in our employees’ roles as caring and constructive community members.
