What to Expect as an Intern 
An internship with one of our offices can offer you not only broad exposure to our industry but experience that will be useful when selecting a career. With our transportation logistics internships, we expose you to a number of different areas such as selling, distribution management, and customer service. The goal of this world-class internship program is to offer you a challenging learning opportunity and to enhance your potential to become a member of our Robinson team upon graduation. This is why our internship positions are modeled after our full time transportation sales position. Our transportation sales team provides logistics services to businesses with all types of freight. Just like our transportation sales representatives, you'll be in daily contact with customers and contract carriers of various sizes, and making an immediate impact on our business.

- Sales and purchasing
- Financial management and account receivables
- Logistics management and transportation economics from a third party perspective
- Carrier management and service
- Distribution patterns, tracking, and tracing
- Technology information systems
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for current, full time undergraduates at a junior or senior level. Pursuing any of the following majors is a plus: Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Communications, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related major.
The required qualifications for internships include:
- Full time undergraduate student
- Strong communication/negotiation skills
- Competitive personality

- Detail-oriented
What We Offer
Full time internships are available during the summer, and both part time and full time internships are available during the academic year. We offer a flexible schedule and a competitive hourly salary. Benefits are not available for interns.
